Ricky Tomlinson and Ralf Little paid a visit to Romney’s Ltd in Kendal last year as part of a new series called, Ricky and Ralf’s Very Northern Road Trip, which sees the two actors reunited for a campervan adventure celebrating the north of England.
The actors best known for starring in 'The Royle Family' as father and son, Jim and Anthony Royle, will be touring the north of England for a six-episode series sharing their memories, visiting new places and entertaining one another — and us too, whilst visiting various stops across the U.K.
As part of their travels, the two paid a visit to our Kendal factory and even got involved in the making of our famous Kendal Mint Cake. We also showed them how we wrap the iconic, original energy bar before giving them some to help power them through the rest of their journey.
It was an absolute pleasure to have these two lovely chaps visit us, we’d even go so far as to say they’re probably the two best people we’ve ever had visit us — it was honestly pretty mint.
Ricky and Ralf’s Very Northern Road Trip will be aired on Gold from the 11th May consisting of 6 episodes.
