Later this month, the Velo Retro returns to England for its 8th year and will be based in the small and very lovely market town of Ulverston. It is the only retro and vintage cycling event in the English Lake District, where for one weekend, steel vintage bikes rule and retro cycling jerseys are cool! Originally inspired by Eroica Italy, it's a festival of friendship. There’s no fence, it’s mostly free and there are no big corporate sponsors – Velo Retro is the authentic, friendly cycling event - where you arrive as strangers...and leave as friends!
We are happy to announce that Romney’s have sponsored the event alongside a handful of other small local business, that have come together to provide contents for a goodie bag that will be handed out to all participants of the event.
