George Romney Ltd are thrilled to announce a new partnership with the Everest 70 group starting from the 29th May 2023 - the 70th anniversary of the first ascent of Mount Everest by Sir Edmund Hillary & Tenzing Norgay.
The exciting partnership will see the release of a new product, various charitable donations & news updates across the year!

“It is with great pleasure I can announce the upcoming collaboration between Romney’s Kendal Mint Cake & Everest 70.
This collaboration has been in the works for a long time, and we are excited to share our plans to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the first ascent up Mount Everest in 1953.
On Monday 29th May 2023, a new Romney’s product will be revealed and available to buy online. For every sale of this product, a donation will be made to the Himalayan Trust UK.
George Romney Ltd will also be donating Kendal Mint Cake to the upcoming UK Everest 70 events at the Royal Geographical Society on the 13th June & the Gala Dinner hosted at Landing Forty Two on the 15th June. A selection of Romney’s products will also be donated to the New Zealand Himalayan Trust for fundraising events.
This collaboration is something we are extremely passionate about and means a great deal to our family business. The First successful Everest expedition took our brand to the next level & made Kendal Mint Cake famous around the U.K. and the world. Our business has benefitted immensely from the extraordinary achievements of Sir Edmund Hillary & Tenzing Norgay, and we believe it is time to give something back.
